Although the profession of school psychology in India is at its early stages, many applied psychologists work in clinics and early intervention centres and provide support to schools and services for children with disabilities. In addition educational psychology has been included in all teacher training curricula in India for many years. Its use in improving the quality of teaching in the classroom together with the cognitive functioning of students is becoming increasingly widespread. The opportunity to learn about recent research and developments in theory and practice from around the world will help to promote the progress of the discipline and the profession of school psychology throughout India.
We wholeheartedly welcome you to the 33rd ISPA  Conference, in Vellore (Near Chennai), India.
